“I
bring you good news of great joy” (Luke 2:10b).
What
could be better news than to know the long-awaited Messiah had come. “Great
joy” almost seems like an understatement. People who knew the Scriptures and
had been hoping for the Messiah must have been ecstatic to know He had come.
The Promised One came in their lifetime.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, You have promised
that Jesus would come back again. Help us to be ready.
