Advent Week 1: Friday

Family Scripture Reading: Revelation 5:11-12
11 Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders.

12 In a loud voice they were saying: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!”

Family Application: Sing this hymn together:

O come, O come, Emmanuel; And ransom captive Israel; That mourns in lonely exile here; Until the Son of God appears; Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel; Shall come to thee, O Israel.

An example of a gift that we can give Jesus is to send a letter to our missionaries in Thailand. Send them words of hope Best way to send it is email: thailandumc@gmail.com
