“.
. . to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph” (Luke 1:27a).
In
only a dozen words, Luke introduces us to the two main characters in the
Christmas story. Mary, a virgin, and Joseph, a carpenter, were about to have
their world turned upside down. Because they were willing to cooperate with
God’s plan, our world can turn right side up.
Prayer: Father, like Mary and Joseph, help
me to cooperate with Your plan.
